Our Certified Chaplaincy Course is a forty hours course in active listening and caring skills which trains Spiritual Care Givers in 11 specific different skills. These include, Behavior Description, Direct Expression of Feelings, Paraphrase, Life Commandments, Perception Check, Story Listening, Fogging, Neuro-Linguistics, Productive Questions, Negative Inquiry and Story Polarization Listening. The course is provided and designed by Dr. Matthew Taylor.
Bio
Matthew Taylor was born in Cruger, Mississippi on February 12, 1972.
He is the youngest child of his parents, Will & Ella Taylor twelve children, six boy and six girls.
After finishing high school at S.V. Marshall High in Tchula, Mississippi he had many football scholarships offers. He was unable to fulfill those offers because of an injury he sustained during his senior year of high school.
In 2002 Matthew attended California School of Theological and Aneon Bible College.
Dr. Taylor holds a doctorate degree in Christian Counsel and a master degree in Theology. Dr. Taylor is currently the Director of Education at Grace Schools, four time author, book publisher, and a national public speaker and the owner of a very successful Mental Health and Substance Abuse practice, (Taylormade Counseling & Consulting) located in Wildomar, California. Dr. Taylor is also one of the founders at Taylored Transitions.
Dr. Taylor has been married to his lovely wife Debra Lynn Taylor for over 33 years, they have four beautiful daughters’, Veronica, D’Erica, Vivian, & Deboni one smart son, Matthew and seven amazing grandkids.
Dr. Taylor credits all of his success to his beliefs in God and love for family and friends.
